Heavee is back with 4 funky, intense experimentations.
These new tracks morph footwork's rhythms and samples into captivating new forms, fusing them with breakbeats & techno.
Fierce and innovative, music to take you out of your head and body.

Are you ready’ starts the project off with intentions to rave, hefty 909 kicks & short 90’s vocal snippets build the pace and guide you right into the next track ‘funky groove.’ Inspiration for the track came from listening to early cuts like ‘Footcrab’ by Addison groove and remix by DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn. This track ‘funky groove’ was created in 2014 but after a few hard drive failures it was delayed. The track is minimal and sparse with loads of Bass in between.

Next up is ‘Take Control’ Heavee's take on a dub and reggae vibe that starts off with a buildup moment. It calls for hip movement and a little head nodding if you really want to feel it. It’s quickly rushes off into breakneck footwork rhythms that showcase experimentation still at play. ‘Midwest Express’ is the fourth and final track. The track opens with lush synth work that lifts you up out of your seat with sub bass and breaks that sends you flying into the future. The track has an empowering moment ingrained into it that was really important to put out there. There’s hope, In the midst of the chaos.
